WRBH Reading Radio
At WRBH 88.3 FM, our mission is to turn the printed word into the spoken word so that the blind and print handicapped receive the same ease of access to current information as their sighted peers. We are dedicated to helping the blind and print handicapped through our volunteer reading. Our 200+ volunteers make 24 hours of programming, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year, possible. WRBH is the only full time reading service on the FM dial in the country and one of only three in the world.
WRBH offers a wide variety of programming including: The Wall Street Journal, The Times-Picayune, weekly and monthly magazines, listings of local events, grocery store ads, and both fiction and non-fiction books. Additionally, we host several shows in the studio including Writers Forum, which provides an opportunity for local authors to discuss their work, and The Chef Show, moderated by Mary Sonnier, former co-owner of Gabrielle Restaurant. More recently, the station has partnered with the French, Vietnamese, and the growing Spanish-speaking communities of New Orleans in order to provide these populations with quality programming.

A couple of months ago we announced NewsworthyAudio.com (www.NewsworthyAudio.com), a personal audio newspaper site. Many of you were kind enough to test it out and give us some very good ideas on how to improve the site for the visually impaired. We recently released a new version of NewsworthyAudio.com that improves usability for those using screen readers.
We are hoping you might give it a try.
To refresh, NewsworthyAudio subscribers tell us the types of news stories in which they are interested. We find the full-length newspaper stories that match those interests and deliver them as high-quality personalized podcasts to each subscriber.
Subscribers can personalize over a dozen categories of news, pick from hundreds of pre-built news podcasts we build for major newspapers, or create their own custom podcasts. Subscribers can also listen to full-length newspaper stories online.
Newsreel Magazine
Newsreel is an exciting monthly audio magazine available on both audio cassette tape and in digital mp3 format. Produced by and for persons who are blind or visually impaired, Newsreel contains news, supportive articles, information and entertainment.

Challenger magazine
A CASSETTE MAGAZINE FOR BLIND CHESS PLAYERS
Challenger is the magazine of the U.S. Braille Chess Association (USBCA.) It contains results, scores and analysis of members' games, USBCA news, general chess news and grandmaster games, instructional articles on chess, sources of chess books and equipment and reviews of chess computer games and databases that are accessible to blind players.
